Isn't it funny how life has a way of nudging you toward your true passions?

Though I have always possessed a deep love for creativity and artistic expression, I never quite had the guts to share my creations with the world. Over the years, I tried my hand at everything from looming hats and crocheting hair accessories to crafting Amigurumi animals.

 

Everything changed when I got a Cricut—that magical machine capable of bringing all sorts of artistic visions to life. I began by making stickers for my children, my co-workers, and my husband's workplace to celebrate Medical Laboratory Professional Week. After decorating my own laptop and water bottle with a few of my favorite designs, I immediately started receiving questions:

"Where did you get that sticker?" "Where can I order one?" "Can you make one for me?"

 

The true spark happened during an inspiring conversation with a fellow commuter rail rider who admired the stickers on my computer and suggested I apply for the mentoring services offered through the institution I work for. Just a few months later, Sticky Wit Art was born to bring a little more color, personality, and wittiness into the world.
